After 44 years Steve and Deb wish to retire!

We are looking for a buyer who knows and enjoys our business. It is our wish to assure that the reputation we have worked so hard to build is cared for as well as our customers that have meant so much to us through the years. We are not going out of business! Depending on your qualifications grants may be available. We have a number of creative ways to assist the right person such as leasing the equipment and buying the inventory. Doing this would lower your investment cost substantially.

Steve will be screening potential buyers. Before we release confidential information, you will need to sign a confidentiality agreement and pass bank pre-approval / credit check. to be considered as a “serious qualified buyer”. To obtain financing you will need earnest money down. This will be required before any information is given.

You will receive the rights to all of our trademarks, our website, store mascots (excluding Greyhounds), equipment, inventory, animal care sheets, reference library, training tapes manuals and more. Our store is fully computerized and run by three computers that handle our customer data base, inventory, pricing, and purchasing, payroll, desktop publishing and sign programs. It takes just minutes to price and display an order. Owner training is available. In addition to owner training support as needed will be billed hourly. It is our sincere intention that the next owner(s) carry the "spirit" forward successfully.

We would consider other real estate in trade

The business and the buildings are for sale. Terms include a favorable five year lease in a well cared for and energy efficient building. Located in a thriving and growing downtown. We believe in the future of downtown Hutchinson and want to keep the buildings as an investment.

Our goal is total retirement. We do wish to leave the business entirely
