Steve has over thirty-eight years of experience as the owner of a retail pet shop “Aquaria Pets”. As a “kid” he loved to sell anything a kid could. From worms, to marbles or the birdhouses he built. The phrase “Life is not a rehearsal, live it fully.” describes his philosophy on life. Spectator sports like line dancing, bowling and golf are not even to be considered. His hobbies include skydiving, scuba, guns, cooking, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, photography, carpentry, figure eight racing and demolition derbies. Steve is easily bored. He finds a “good” explosion and fire somewhat stimulating. He is passionate about trying almost anything different and doing it well. His “misadventures” and observations on life constantly provide fresh material for an outrageous sense of humor. A class in Audio Visual Technology accidentally placed him in the printing business for a number of years. In the process, an interest in ad layout and copywriting developed. Past endeavors include technical articles for the “Minnesota Aquarium Society Magazine”, and several ads composed for his business “Aquaria Pets” including “Paws”, and its website “aquariapets.com” which is still in development. His wife the “love of his life” Deb and two children Jared and Mandy and his granddaughters Cassidy and Kylie greatly enhance his life. Their collection of pets includes three Italian Greyhounds, Tawny, Mirth and Mayhem. They provide a constant source of laughter. Steve’s goal is to slow down and smell the roses while never backing down, or giving up. His priorities in life include romance, adventure, security, health, humor, honor and the love of life. All of them are of equal importance. Do not ever tell him “or else.” Steve, has been described as “delightfully Klingon.” He believes that a deal is a deal. That if you make a promise it must be honored at any cost.
