Macaws are native to South America, and are one of the biggest members of the parrot family. Well cared for Macaws should live 90 years or more!
Many Parrot and Macaw owners will tell you "You don't own Macaws... they own you". While being great pets with a personality like dogs, Macaws can be entertaining, affectionate, protective of their owners, and very trying at times.
Joey and Paco live within a 9ft x 9ft room complete with swings, branches and lots of hiding places. When you visit AQUARIA you might even see Joey & Paco following Steve and Deb around like puppy dogs.

Our cockatiels will not bite! Deb & Steve know that if a "pet" has to be handled with gloves, then it isn't a good pet.
AQUARIA'S cockatiels are hand fed. That means that right after they hatch, they are removed from the nest and fed by humans 24 hours a day.
Hand fed cockatiels bond to their new owners quickly and can learn to talk too.
WOW! Exactly when did he lose control? Is this a bad feather day or what? This is "P.D." and Umbrella Cockatoo. He liked his bath. P.D. stands for ..Perfect Ding-a-Ling, Pretty Dumb, or just Perfectly Delightful. It all depends on his moment.
He loved to rule his kingdom from on top of his cage. If you're quiet and don't scare them when you visit AQUARIA P.D. and many of the animals will let you pet them. Please note P.D. Has been sold!
P.D. has his wild & playful side too. Here he gives Tasha a run for her money.
Special Note "P.D." is no longer with us. He now has a home with a special girl to play with him!
He also enjoys a good piece of cat once in a while. They're high in fiber & last for 9 lives.
